It would be a LOT easier to honor if it had been issued by an honorable President. It sounds more than a little hollow coming from Clinton's mouth. Perhaps there is a new one from Bush.
Well, Daddy, in his 2005 Memorial Day Proclamation President Bush asked "all Americans to observe the National Moment of Remembrance beginning at 3:00 p.m. ..."; he also asked for nationwide "prayer for permanent peace", to take place at 11 a.m. today.
