brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...........

I was about ready to complain about freezing to death. It's 65 degrees F. in our room and I have on a long-sleeved shirt and a turtleneck and a sweater (and I'm still cold).

But, I just learned that our suitemate's room is closer to 60 degrees, as is the room of our RA, who has, incidentally, put in a request to get the heat turned up.

It's all for a good cause. They may only raise our tuition by $500 instead of $1000 next year.

You mean they don't let you control the heat in your own rooms?

How well I remember Alpha Hall. The condensation on the windows. The huge chunks of ice inside the room when that condensation froze and refroze.

I also remember having (now Prez) Prof Manahan for a class, and how he wondered at the audacity of a student (not me :-) to claim a paper had been ruined by melting ice runoff to the desk (which was right beside the window).

I am here to say, "It could have happened! Indeed it could!"

But, I'm over the emotional trauma.
For the most part. Especially since it wasn't my paper.

But, where were we....?

You know, 65 degrees isn't all that cold.
Especially with all that paraphernalia on. Is it me, or is something pretty wierd.
