My word, housework takes a long time. Is that
why I do it only twice a week, or is that
because I only do it twice a week? Or is it a vicious cycle that's going to accelerate exponentially till it collapses in on me? And on whom can we blame all this?

Wait. Why? Because we might have learned ineffective housework habits from them? (which isn't true in this case)
Oh please, Sharon.
Everyone knows cleaning is not my forte. Don't try and make up stuff on my account.
I've always secretly suspected I was meant to be president, where they have other people around to tidy up for you.
On another topic, I was serious about you and me taking over Jason's blog, comment-wise.
That site needs some jazzin' up, and you and I are just the folks to do it! Maybe we can even get Ardith to join in. She's always good for les bon mots....
Wait, you do housework twice a week? Does this involve anything other than doing the dishes and maybe a load of laundry? Because if so, you're clearly doing housework too often.
Actually, Mommy... I wasn't being that nice. I meant that, if I do have ineffective housework habits, I didn't learn them from you. I wasn't implying at all that you have effective housework habits.
**EXTREME BELLY LAUGH**
Why Ardith, housework involves whatever needs to be done. Dishes, laundry... cooking, cleaning, ironing, taking down exterior windchimes, and outdoor porch lights that have burned out, etc. etc. Shoveling. Taking pictures of icicles that have started propping up the roof.
Speaking of which...maybe you should send that last picture to your landlord.
Oh, I was getting scared for a minute. I was beginning to think that you really vacuum, clean the bathroom, and dust twice a week. My schedule would definitely have to be re-vamped.
Oh, yes, Mommy - I really need to let them know about the icicles. They're all gone now and I want them back.
